Fairy Tree

A whimsical fantasy gathering of fairies living in their natural little dwellings within an old, hollowed tree stump. Mosses and lichen abound.
The fairies have been busy collecting honey in acorn caps, gathering mica for their windows and tabletops, and amethyst crystals.
They have visitors- fireflies, snails and a bullfrog.
The chrysalis was given to me by my daughter last month after her Monarch caterpillar emerged as a beautiful, delicate butterfly and her note to me excitedly declaring “It’s a girl!”
