G: Dragon's Head
COMPLETING THE DRAGON’S HEAD
1. Glue horn plate centering on the midline of the skull and just behind the eyes. Glue each spine in place along upper neck angling the spine toward the back (leave room for neck shackle if necessary). Glue each tooth at front of upper jaw – with tip curving backwards. See Photo 29 for placement.
2. Coat clay parts- eyes, horns, spines, teeth and feet- with clear gloss.
3. Use antiquing gel, amber Gallery Glass or thinned acrylic paint and a small brush to lightly ‘age’ the teeth near the ‘gums’.
You may want to touch up the metallic highlights if you like.
Your Hanging Dragon Skin is finished and ready to hang in your castle or cave - or is that your next project?
