Paperclay Tutorial

I needed a way to finish large surface areas of a project that used carved builders' foam. I also had to hide the joins of glued-together sections of foam as well as protect the soft painted finish from marks and dents. It dries to a hard finish that you can treat just like regular Paperclay. You can adjust the ratio of water to clay to make a thicker or a more fluid liquid Paperclay. Remember- you are increasing the amount of water in the clay so it will take longer to dry than normal Paperclay. I used this method of mixing but I'm sure an old blender would work. I found my hand-mixing method therapeutic for my mind & hands. I have stored my liquid clay in sealed bags for over a year and it is fine.
