Monarch Chrysalis

Every Monarch caterpillar knows the best place to pupate is protected by fairies. After emerging from the chrysalis, the Monarch butterfly thanks the Fairies before continuing on it's journey. The chrysalis 'shell' is a gift to the fairies. The fairies use the beautiful gold and black beaded edging for jewelery and decorations for their homes. The rest is ground into very fine magical 'fairy dust'- perfect for flying!
This special chrysalis was gifted to the fairies by Christa- my daughter. She has a special relationship with the Monarchs and has protected their transformation since she was young. I guess that explains why she could fly.
