Wire Loops for Beam

Wire Loops for Beam

6. Use three 1 ½” lengths of coat hanger wire- or something of similar diameter- to form a closed loop leaving 2 long ‘legs’ for insertion into the beam.
7. Drill 2 holes in each clay band on the beam. This will allow you to glue 2 ‘legs’ of the wire loop into each hole.
8. Test fit the wire loops into each hole. Shorten length of legs with wire cutters, if necessary, to fit flush with back of beam. Bend loop to desired position if possible- depending on type of wire used. Glue wire loops into the holes in the beam and let dry.
