I like to start with the spine because it is heavier and a little more difficult to bend into the position I want. Reheat several times and rebend a little at a time. Sometimes the rib cage flattens out so I flip him over, heat to soften the ribs then insert a pencil or small dowel into the bottom of the rib cage to gently lift up the ribs & sternum.
